Warehouse RFID tracking and indoor mapping software for Poland

Poland has become one of Europe’s largest and fastest-growing warehouse markets, with big-box logistics parks around Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław, Poznań and Upper Silesia, many of them shipping to Germany and Western Europe every night. Spatial Map turns those warehouses, fulfilment centres and plants into live 3D maps in the browser — racks coloured by stock, RFID cartons read at the docks, forklifts as live markers — fed by the WMS, readers and sensors you already run.

No credit card. Runs in the browser. Pro is $60/month for up to 4 facilities. Book a demo

Five logistics regions on the motorway grid

Polish warehousing grew along the motorways, and most modern space sits in a handful of regions, each with its own profile:

  • Warsaw — the largest market, with distribution for the capital and for national retail networks.
  • Central Poland around Łódź and Stryków, where the A1 and A2 motorways cross — national distribution centres within a day’s drive of most of the country.
  • Wrocław and Lower Silesia on the A4, close to Germany and Czechia — e-commerce, electronics and automotive logistics.
  • Poznań on the A2 Berlin–Warsaw corridor — fulfilment and cross-border distribution towards Germany.
  • Upper Silesia around Katowice and Gliwice, where the A1 meets the A4 — industrial and automotive supply, and routes to the south.

E-commerce fulfilment for Germany and Western Europe

Many fulfilment centres in western and central Poland serve customers in Germany and other Western European countries, combining large pick areas, packing, returns processing and fast linehaul to the border. Volumes swing with promotions and the peak season, and multi-client 3PL buildings have to report to each client separately.

Spatial Map shows such a building as one live map: 2,204 rack locations coloured full, OK, low, empty or blocked in the Crestline Fulfillment demo, pick-to-light zones, packing output, staging lanes, forklift charging and the trailer yard, plus a quality-hold and returns area. Facilities, reports and data can be grouped per client into named solutions inside one workspace, and read-only share links give each client their own view, with an expiry date and no account needed. If bin stock lives in a CSV export or behind a WMS API, it can drive the rack colours directly — see stock by bin on a rack grid.

Manufacturing: cars, home appliances and furniture

Poland is one of Europe’s largest producers of household appliances and a leading furniture manufacturer and exporter, and its automotive industry spans vehicle assembly, components and battery production for electric vehicles. These plants run on material flow: raw materials and purchased parts in, finished goods out, often in bulky units that fill a warehouse quickly.

Spatial Map draws lines, raw-material and finished-goods racks, docks and buffer areas on the plant layout. RFID reads on carriers, line status from your MES and stock from your ERP or WMS appear as live markers and coloured areas, and the report builder turns them into a shift summary exported to PDF or Excel. The Summit Assembly demo shows three lines, WIP carriers and 867 rack locations.

Port of Gdańsk and the Baltic

On the Baltic, the Port of Gdańsk has grown into one of the largest container ports on the Baltic Sea, alongside Gdynia and Szczecin–Świnoujście. Containers move by rail and road to inland terminals and to warehouses around the country, where they are unloaded, deconsolidated and put away.

For those sites, Spatial Map puts dock doors, yard slots, unloading areas and racks on one live map, with RFID-tagged pallets read at each door. The Eastport Cross-Dock demo shows 50 dock doors, 44 yard slots and 1,180 RFID pallets, with the gate and weighbridge.

Language, GDPR and workplace monitoring

The interface is not available in Polish. Polish teams typically use it in English, and German is available too — practical when the client or the group headquarters is German; French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese complete the list. Room names, rack codes and report titles can be in Polish, diacritics included, and appear on the map and in exported reports exactly as you type them.

Under the GDPR, location data that can be linked to employees is personal data; the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) is the supervisory authority, and the Polish Labour Code has its own rules on workplace monitoring, including informing employees in advance. Your legal advisers decide what applies. Most warehouse projects tag pallets, cartons, forklifts and trailers rather than people. A data processing agreement is available and the security page explains how data is protected.

Working with us from Poland

Spatial Map is sold online at the same USD price worldwide — not in złoty — and our team works with customers in Poland remotely, by video call and through the contact form, in English or German. For multi-site rollouts the services team digitises floor plans and connects WMS, RFID or sensor data as a fixed-price custom service, with a proposal within 3 business days.

Questions from Polish teams

Not yet. The app is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese, and each user picks their own language. Your own content — rack codes, room names, report titles — can be in Polish.

Yes. Read-only share links show only the layers and floors you choose, with an expiry date and a view cap, and can be revoked at any time; clients need no account. Facilities, reports and data can also be grouped per client into named solutions.

No. It reads from your WMS and shows its data on the building: stock by rack location, pallets by dock door, trailers by yard slot. Data comes in through REST polling, file uploads (CSV, Excel, JSON, GeoJSON) or the table write API.

The Polish Labour Code has rules on workplace monitoring, including informing employees in advance, and the GDPR applies to location data about people; your legal advisers decide what applies. Most warehouse projects tag pallets, cartons and forklifts rather than people.
